What drives you?

I'm in the military and currently overseas. I have 8 more months of service and can't wait to get home to see my family. On a daily basis I deal with fighting for our freedom and protecting civilians when all I really want is to be playing with my daughter and hugging my husband. The compassion for my country and the everlasting love of my family is what drives me.

I am an avid motorcycle rider (a gixxer 600 to be specific). This past year I upgraded and bought new which required me to visit many dealerships. I'm always looking for the best bargain. So in my many trips to dealerships I very quickly became aware of just how much discrimination is still bestowed upon women in the motorcycle world. There were several times I would not have even been acknowledged and certainly not taken seriously. I did get my new bike in August 07 and have put 4500 miles on it in 3 months. As you can see, I love to ride and MOTORCYCLES are what drive me. Lisa G, Mich

My name is Kathy and I am one of the women of Women Driven. Family and Friends are what drives me. Regardless of what has happened in my life divorce, loss of job, or financial issues the one thing that has remained a constant in my life has been my friends and family.
